Serving on the Care or Prayer Team allows you to come alongside members of our church body and community to pray with and for them, meet tangible needs, and truly share one another’s burdens. With a mix of serving on Sunday mornings, behind the scenes, and during the week, these teams provide a lot of flexibility for your schedule.

ROLES IN CARE AND PRAYER

Care Team

This team serves sporadically as needs arise. We are looking for people who want to serve in one or more of the following ways:

Food Prep - Helps keep our chest freezer stocked with meals for those in need and for current meal trains.

Meal Train Set Up - Creates meal trains when needed by speaking to the person we are assisting and gathering information about the best drop-off days and times, food preferences, allergies, and more.

Meal Delivery - Delivers meals to those in need or for a scheduled meal train.

Outreach - Stays in communication with those needing care, prayer, or just someone to talk to. This may include in-person hospital or home visits and phone calls.

Arranging Gifts - Assists with gift orders and sending handwritten cards to those who have lost a loved one or are going through a hard season of life.

Helping Hands - Assists with minor handyman and house projects, yard maintenance, house cleaning, and other basic home care needs.

Prayer Team

The Prayer Team serves on Sunday mornings by maintaining a warm and inviting presence. During the service, the team member scheduled will privately pray for the church body, staff, community, world, and incoming prayer requests. They are also available after service to pray with anyone who comes forward and requests prayer.

During the week, each team member prays on their own time for new and ongoing prayer requests.

The team also comes together for quarterly churchwide prayer nights.
