OneCompassion’s mission is to glorify God by impacting and developing people to build up our local community. They strive to love and love generously, as God does, and their ministries provide temporary solutions while people get back on their feet. They serve hundreds of families in Johnston County each year through financial assistance, community events, and outreach programs like Christmas in July and Holiday Ministry.

HER Haven of Light is a place of refuge and safety for the women of Johnston County. Their mission is to provide women in unforeseen circumstances a safe place to land with the resources they need to get back on their feet. This safe space was created for women by women, and they often help those who may be walking through teen pregnancy, homelessness, rape, or domestic violence to get the support, resources, and directions they need to flourish. All services are entirely confidential, and they offer various resources to their clients, such as intake appointments, support groups, counseling sessions, help with emergency expenses, and safe housing when possible. Riverside Ranch has a private 36-acre facility that allows them to serve residents of Johnston and Wake Counties. Their mission is to share God’s love through adaptive horsemanship, day retreats, and engagement with nature and animals. Riverside Ranch recognizes that God has made each of us unique, and they celebrate that. They serve individuals with special needs and those going through grief by teaching adaptive horsemanship skills, how to tack a horse, adaptive riding, teamwork, and relationship building with each other and the horses. Clayton Area Ministries, or CAM, provides relief to people in need. It was founded in 1982 by Clessie Pollard. After serving in the Navy in WWII and witnessing the devastation of starvation, he was forever changed and wanted to help those in need. CAM is entirely volunteer-based and serves about 1300 people per month, with most food donations coming from businesses, grocery stores, schools, and churches. They are unique as they often have fresh produce, meat, and non-perishable items to offer. CAM solely serves Clayton residents who can fill out a form and come once per month to pick up food Monday through Friday from 1-3 pm. With Love from Jesus has been around for over 20 years, providing food, clothing, prayer, and hope to over 3000 people monthly in Wake and Johnston Counties. Their goal is to display God's unity while ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of the individuals they serve each week. They have locations in Raleigh and Clayton. All are welcome and can shop for food, clothing, toiletries, and household items without ID, proof of income, or residency. They want people to receive freely with love from Jesus. iChoose provides compassionate support to women and men in unplanned pregnancy and post-abortion recovery situations. They have two locations in Knightdale and Clayton and serve Wake and Johnston counties. All services are confidential, and everyone will be met with care, understanding, and professionalism to help them make a fully informed decision. The Comet Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit organization that provides the financial support and volunteer base necessary to run a thriving athletic program for Clayton High School student-athletes and coaching staff. They believe athletics provides students with important life skills and want to use their collective time, talents, and treasures to support the school and students. House of Hope of NC is a Christian therapeutic school, home, and counseling center that has served the community for over 25 years. Their residential program serves girls ages 12-17 by offering intensive counseling while living and attending school on campus. They believe in supporting the family as a system and emphasize the importance of healing together and bringing reconciliation to the family as a whole. They also offer outpatient counseling services for teens and adults as another way to serve the community. The Jimmy Carroll Foundation, or JCF, synergistically partners with nonprofits that tangibly address the myriad issues impacting the unhoused through demonstrations of love and justice. JCF partners with organizations that focus on issues such as shelter, food insecurity, human trafficking, substance abuse, clothing, education, employment sustainability, and physical and mental health. Meet Chad, Jami, Olivia & Kingston Bader! They serve in impoverished rural communities throughout Guatemala. Their ministry is called ‘Transformando Vidas’ (Transforming Lives). As Christ’s ambassadors, their task is to provide leadership, guidance, and resources in order to see "forgotten communities" redeemed spiritually, socially, and economically for the glory of God. Transformando Vidas currently serves three specific locations in Guatemala, focusing on evangelism and discipleship, in addition to various projections that meet the physical needs of community members.
