When God gave His Word to us, He gave His communication in a written form. The Bible, therefore, becomes the very voice of God to our hearts and minds. Every disciple must also have a means of communication back to God. This is what prayer is. God has so designed His kingdom that those who dwell on the earth have an ordained means by which they can communicate with the invisible, spiritual God of heaven
It appears that God does nothing unless His people pray. It is not difficult. It is not complicated. It is simply talking to God. It is expressing ourselves continually to the Lord and making our requests known to Him. Thus, knowing how to pray and how to express oneself through this simple means becomes one of the primary tasks of every Christian disciple.
